Cartier – Santos Dumont – 4240

In 1904, Louis Cartier granted the wish of Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont who requested to be able to tell the time while flying. By creating one of the first wrist watches, Cartier sealed the bond of friendship between the two pioneers.

Santos-Dumont watch, large model, high autonomy quartz movement. Steel case, beaded crown set with a blue synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, satin-brushed silver dial with sunray effect, Roman numerals, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Original Cartier blue alligator leather, with steel Cartier tang buckle. Case dimensions: 43.5 mm x 31.4 mm, thickness: 7.3 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters/100 feet).

Fantastic unworn condition with box, papers and full front case/crystal cover and Cartier warranty valid until November 2025.
